OpenText signs global reseller agreement with SAP on HR document management

Enterprise information management solution provider OpenText has announced a new global reseller agreement with SAP, under which its Extended ECM solution will be sold as SAP SuccessFactors Extended Enterprise Content Management by OpenText.

The cloud-based solution, which has been designed exclusively for the SuccessFactors HCM Suite, will help organisations manage human resources and employee documents from generation to disposition in a secure and compliant way. According to OpenText, the solution will help businesses to improve their performance, efficiency and productivity by centralising document management.

“More than any other department, HR professionals are responsible for a vast amount of information which is pivotal to the organisation,” said Adam Howatson, chief marketing officer, OpenText. “Helping companies manage their essential employee records through a single, cloud-based source is a significant step for companies wanting to more effectively manage an increasingly global, digital workforce.”

The solution allows customers to manage employee documents according to country- and region-specific requirements, locate information with search functionality, and provides templates, content and pre-defined workflows for the generation of HR documents and employee correspondence. It also provides an employee file completeness check, with alerts to notify HR managers of missing or out-of-date documents.
